An extended community of learning will require in-depth information about itself and comparable urban areas in order to assess its needs and chart its development. To this end, and also to support on-campus teaching and learning, Trinity will establish a Cities Data Center.

The Cities Data Center will be created within the Trinity Center for Neighborhoods, the Director of the Data Center will begin work on July 1, 1999.
